Remake Kane?
Em, No. Never. Don't even touch the masterpiece.
One of the reasons it was so great is that it challenged society at the time. The film is loosely based on Wm Randolph Hurst who was so pissed by it all he wanted cinemas to withdraw it, and critics to slam it. He had the power to do this but he couldn't stop Kane being a legend.
Thats how to make a movie- piss off some very powerful people (although not in the film industry)
